I made a few dozen of these for my cousin's bridal shower and everyone just loved them! The only flaw I could find was that some of the floral accents were hard to see and therefore difficult to paint with different colors of candy. There is a lot of guesswork involved. This large 3D fish mold may work for chocolate, but it is a superlative jello mold. For your next seafood party, I recommend using the fish mold with orange-flavored jello. I bought these candy molds together with the same seller's lollypop sticks because I was looking for an affordable mermaid-themed gift for a group. They were extremely well received! The molds are not fancy or metal but very basic clear plastic. They are one-sided so the mermaids all have flat backs. But the price is right (although greatly increased due to separate shipping charges for each additional mold), the design is good, and the molds came with a helpful instructional pamphlet, which was much appreciated. I thought I was buying a truffle mold, truffles are round and this mold was more oval and oblong. Also i thought you put the two together to form the chocolate by filling in the other end, but that isn't the way this one works apparently. Works ok, but not what I expected.
